Auxiliaries
Since 1940, chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, realized the importance and the valuable contributions of women who chose a different educational path than college. Though many women affiliated with Zeta chapters served in organized auxiliaries, their place in the sisterhood was made official when National President Lullelia Harrison included in her report to the 1948 Boule’ a recommendation that chapters be allowed to organize auxiliaries known as Zeta “Amicae” (Friends of Zeta).
The Amicae auxiliary provides an opportunity for professional women to be affiliated with Zeta and assist the sorority with providing positive, proactive, and far-reaching community service, both nationally and internationally. Today, Amicae auxiliaries are in all eight regions of Zeta Phi Beta and have continued to render invaluable community service and thousands of dollars helping Zeta extend their outreach to the communities where they live and serve.

Zeta Youth Affiliates
The first youth clubs were formed in the 1950’s for all youth involved with the sorority, as Zetalites, Archonettes, or Amicettes. However, participation in club activities quickly increased to the point that the club was divided into two age groups. The high school girls kept the name of the Archonette Club, which accepts members who are in high school (ages 14-18). The younger girls became the Amicette Club (ages 9-13), and in the 1970’s the Pearlette Club (ages 4-8) was organized.
The mission of the Youth Clubs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is to provide a carefully designed program of activities that will enhance youth club members through mind, body, and spirit as they work within their various communities to serve and help others
